Song of the day: Incubus - "Wish You Were Here"

Blur to release new record

Good, or even great news for all Blur fans out there. The band will release new album after long 9 years. Guitarist Graham Coxon told the NME:

"Blur will definitely record something. We always meet like this and we want to record something. We love recording. We're happy when we do music together. I think that's not bad basis at all for recording new album."

William Orbit should be producer of this record. He has previously worked with Robbie Williams or Madonna.

So, this is quite exciting news. I really wonder what new Blur album will sound like after long 9 years.

Listen to new single from Mars Volta

Mars Volta are set to release their sixth full-length record entitled Noctourniquet on March 26. However, now you can listen to the first single of the record called "The Malkin Jewel".

You can listen to track below. I like the track, but it is definitely not what I expected from these guys.

Memorable...

Memorable... will be a new segment at my blog. It will feature anything memorable regarding music. That means, it can be singer, guitar player, whole band, album, track, instrument, show, venue, festival, etc.

I created this segment because I want to talk about all these unforgettable stuff that happened in music throughout the years. First article should be done tonight or maybe tomorrow. I really want to do a great job on this one.

New Releases: 7th Week

This week seems to lack big amount of interesting new releases. The one I feel like I should mention is from indie poppers called Tennis. Their sophomore album Young And Old is out this week.

Listen to Jack White's b-side track

Recently I informed you about Jack White finally going solo. He will release new record on April 23. You have probably heard first song of the album called "Love Interruption". It is nice mellow song. However, I hope the whole record won't be this mellow and we will get some dirty blues-rock'n'roll.

Anyway, now you can listen to b-side track "Machine Gun Silhouette". This track is more bluesy than "Love Interruption". Check it out below.
