Watch new Sigur Rós music video

Sigur Rós revealed another music video as part of their ongoing Valtari Mistery Film Experiment. The band has decided to give dozen film makers the same budget and ask them to make video which will capture their feelings during listening to Valtari. Interesting thing is that they have given complete freedom to these film makers. Fans can also vote, which video is the best.

Video called "Seraph" is the ninth video. It was made by Dash Shaw (comic book artist) and John Cameron Mitchell (cult film director). It features snippets of Valtari tracks "Rembihnútur" and "Ekki Múkk".

The video is pretty wild because it features a lot of depressing and gritty surrealism. You can watch it below.

You can also watch all other videos entitled "Ég anda" 1, "Ég anda" 2, "Varúð" 1, "Varúð" 2, "Fjögur píanó", "Rembihnútur", "Varðeldur" and "Dauðalogn" via the website mentioned above.

According to that website, next video is coming on September 24 and I will definitely inform you about  it right after it comes out.

Song of the day: The XX - "Angels"

The XX released their sophomore album entitled Coexist earlier this month. They continued with their minimalistic sound based on both female and male vocals accompanied by simple guitar and bass on this record.

They are set to go on north american tour in support of their latest effort. You can check all their tour dates here.

They also stopped by and played at this year's Bestival, which took place at the Robin Hill country park on the Isle of Wight, England on 6-9 September. You can check performance of Coexist's opener -"Angels", from this festival below.
