Song of the day: Pink Floyd - "High Hopes"

Excellent song from their last studio album The Division Bell. Although, the album was recorded without Roger Waters, it is a good album. Gilmour and Wright did a hell of a work on this one. Enjoy!

Regina Spector to release new album in May

Regina Spector will release new album entitled What We Saw From The Cheap Seats in May next year.

She collaborated on this album with producer Mike Elizondo who previously worked with Avenged Sevenfold or Maroon 5.

The singer announced the news via her Facebook:

"I'm very excited to say that this summer I recorded a new record with Mike Elizondo in L.A. It's been finished for a little while, but I had no idea when it would be out in the world until now. We're trying to get everything ready for it to come out in May (but I will share some stuff before then for sure!). It's called: 'What We Saw From The Cheap Seats'."

Muse are in the studio

Muse are currently in the studio working hard on their new album. They postet on their twitter account picture of Matt Bellamy in the studio:

Then Bellamy tweeted:

“About to start some recording tomorrow. What musical direction shall we go in?”

and:

“Ok, will start on christian gangsta rap jazz odyssey, some ambient rebellious dubstep and face melting metal flamenco cowboy psychedelia.”

Well, it surely sounds interesting...

According to Muse manager Anthony Addis, the album should be out in October 2012, but it may change  and I am pretty sure it will...

Never read about Nickelback again with Nickelblock plugin

I bet there are many haters of Nickelback. Even fans of football team Detroit Lions hate them. Well, for those of you who hate Nickelback, there is a solution now - Nickelblock plugin for Firefox and Chrome made by AUX labs.

This plugin basically blocks all the news about Nickelback, which just released their new album Here and Now.

If you dislike this band, download the plugin from aux.tv Web site.

New releases: 47th week

Here is a list of new albums for this week. There are plenty of good stuff out this week. Don't judge me for putting on my list artists like Lady Gaga, Rihanna, or Nickelback. Even though I do not like these artists much, I think their albums are important and people should be aware of them.

Chris Cornell – Songbook
Kate Bush – 50 Words For Snow
Lady Gaga – Born This Way: The Remix
Nickelback – Here And Now
Rihanna – Talk That Talk
Seal – Soul 2
The Swellers – Good For Me
Westlife – Greatest Hits
