Watch: Jack White - "Freedom At 21"

I know that you may have already seen this great new video from Jack White, but I just forgot to mention it in my blog. I'm changing it now because such great music video should be mentioned here.

As you all know, Jack White released his debut album Blunderbuss earlier this year. "Freedom At 21" is album's third single after "Love Interruption" and "Sixteen Saltines".

Music video for this track is really awesome. It's got car chase, hot chicks, cool clothes and even Queens Of The Stone Age's frontman - Josh Homme. Watch the video below.

Watch second trailer for Dave Grohl's movie Sound City

Almost half a year ago, I informed you about the fact that Dave Grohl is making documentary movie called Sound City. It focuses on Sound City Studios in which albums like Nevermind were recorded. There is no release date yet, but it should be out this year.

Now there is another trailer for movie revealed. You can watch it below along with older trailer. Both trailers get me really excited about this documentary movie. Whatever Dave Grohl does is great so I assume this movie will be no exception.

Song of the day: The Joy Formidable - "Whirring"

Awesome...

Stream new track from Crystal Castles

Canadian dark electronic duo revealed new track. It is called "Plague" and you can stream it and/or download it at the bottom of the post. It is first new track revealed from their, yet untitled, forthcoming album. "Plague" has got everything we expect from this duo - it's dark, it's twisted and vocals are weird. However, I'm not a big fan of it.

Hear new track from Two Door Cinema Club

Two Door Cinema Club are releasing their sophomore record Beacon in September. Many people were waiting for this record (me including) a long time. To make the waiting little shorter and get excited about the record even more, you can now hear the first song of the album. It is called "Sleep Alone" and I gotta say, it is not bad. Even though I waited something different, it sounds really good.

Listen to the track below.

Watch Refused perform at Jimmy Fallon

Swedish post-hardcore band Refused, which alongside At The Drive-In reunited this year, made a TV appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last week. They performed two tracks: "New Noise" for television proper and "The Shape of Punk to Come" as a web exclusive. Watch both these awesome performances below.

Hear The Vaccines's new track "Teenage Icon"

The Vaccines have recently announced their second album details. It is called The Vaccines Come Of Age and it will be out on September 3.

They also already revealed first track from the album - "No Hope". I like that song a lot and it features good music video as well.

Well, now they revealed another track from the album - new single called "Teenage Icon". It is little heavier song than "No Hope". I like it little less, but it is still good. I hope the whole album will be good. I have a good feeling about it. In fact, this year have brought us and yet will bring us many great new records (Muse, The Killers, Jack White, The Vaccines, Green Day, etc).

Listen to "Teenage Icon" and watch the music video here:

Bob Dylan to release 35th studio album

Folk legend Bob Dylan doesn't have enough. After 50 years of career, 34 studio LPs, 58 singles, 13 live albums and 14 compilation albums, he decided to record new, 35th studio full-length album.

It is entitled Tempest and it will be out on September 10 in the UK and as usual, one day later, September 11 in the US.

It will contain 10 tracks (tracklisting is at the bottom of the post) and it was produced by master himself (I think he's got enough experiences after all that time). Funny fact about every Dylan's record is that producer on his albums is always named as Jack Frost and this one is no exception.

Tracklisting of Tempest:

"Duquesne Whistle"
"Soon After Midnight"
"Narrow Way"
"Long and Wasted Years"
"Pay In Blood"
"Scarlet Town"
"Early Roman Kings"
"Tin Angel"
"Tempest"
"Roll On John"

Hear No Doubt's comeback single

Not only Green Day have new song out, but also No Doubt revealed their very anticipated comeback single. "Settle Down" is first song revealed from their forthcoming record Push and Shove, which is out on September 24. New song's not bad, but I like their older stuff more. Anyway, here it is:

Listen to new song from Green Day

It is finally here. Green Day just revealed first single from their forthcoming album ¡Uno!, the first of their ¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré! album trilogy. Track is called "Oh Love" and you can listen to it below.

Do you like the song or did you expect different sound? I like it, but I hope there will be also heavier stuff on the albums...

Sean Lennon and Yoko Ono have new protest song

Son of legendary John Lennon, Sean Lennon, wrote a new protest song with his mother Yoko Ono. Track entitled "Don't Frack My Mother" points at environmental problems during extraction of gas and oil from rocks at a depth of 2,000 to 10,000 feet down into the shale (so-called "fracking").

They played the song during Late Night With Jimmy Fallon show. Jimmy Fallon himself joined the duo onstage and they all finished the song together.

Watch new music video from Aerosmith

Aerosmith are releasing new record entitled Music From Another Dimension! on November 6. Couple of days ago, they premiered new music video for their first song revealed from the album - "Legendary Child". You can check it at the bottom of the post.

I admire Aerosmith, I really do. However, to be completely honest, I really don't like this track and I'm afraid their new album won't be much better. I wish I was wrong though.

Music From Another Dimension! is band's first new record since 2004' Honkin' on Bobo.

Listen to new track from Middle Class Rut

Duo Middle Class Rut yesterday unexpectedly revealed new song via YouTube. They posted lyric video for new track called "I.FEEL.RIGHT.WHERE.I.AM". You can check it out at the bottom.

Even though I like the sound of the song (because it sounds like typical Middle Class Rut track), I feel like these guys are repeating themselves. Maybe that's just my feeling, but I really feel this way. What do you think of the song?

Watch new music video from Enter Shikari

British Enter Shikari present new music video for their third single from their latest record A Flash Flood of Colour. Third single is a track entitled "Warm Smiles Do Not Make You Welcome Here". Once again, band is fighting against corporations in this track. Music video is kind of darker and it was directed by Raul Gonzo.

I like how these guys are not afraid to say what they think. They always express their feelings about today's society in their own musical way, which makes them so special.

I also saw them last week at Rock For People festival and I gotta say, their music is even better live. They put so much energy into their live performances that it's unbelievable.

Song of the day: Muse - "Survival"

In case you haven't heard this song, give it a try now. It is first song of their forthcoming record and also main song of 2012 Olympic Games, which take place in London in couple of weeks.

It is awesome song reminding The Queen. But it doesn't matter because it sounds huge and it perfectly fits the spirit of The Olympics.

The Kooks had to end their performance at Rock For People 2012 after the storm suddenly hit the festival park. Sadly, they had to completely cancel Faith No More gig because strong wind damaged their equipment. Anyways, good thing is that nobody was seriously hurt. Storms are never fun during festivals...

I can't even describe how awesome and powerful this performance is...enjoy this awesome music.
