Check out new track from The Black Keys & RZA

Garage rock band The Black Keys teamed up with hip-hop producer Robert Fitzgerald Diggs aka RZA and made a new track. It is called "The Baddest Man Alive" and it will be featured on soundtrack for new movie called The Man With the Iron Fists. It will hit stores on October 23.

The movie is produced by legendary Quentin Tarantino and directed by RZA. Soundtrack for the movie features artists such as Kanye West, Method Man or Mabel John (see the tracklisting at the bottom of the post).

Anyway, stream already mentioned track from The Black Keys and RZA called "The Baddest Man Alive" here (via Fuse). It is quite awesome track. Garage rock with hip hop obviously does work when it's done properly like in this case.

Watch Bloc Party perform at Jimmy Kimmel

Recently reunited Bloc Party appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live show last week.

After (and also before) the release of their fourth comeback album entitled simply Four in August of this year, they've been on the road pretty much all the time. They are constantly touring throughout both Europe and the US. They are currently in the UK though. To check all their tour dates, visit their website.

Like I've already said, last week they also make an appearance at Jimmy Kimmel Live show. They performed two songs from their newest effort - single "Octopus" and iTunes Store bonus track "Black Crown".

Both performances are decent, but I feel like they lack more energy. Also, I don't like sound of Russell's guitar during "Octopus". In compare to the studio version of the song, it's got much smaller balls. Anyway, check both performances below.

Song of the day: Stone Sour - "Gone Sovereign"

Some time ago, I informed you about new music from Corey Taylor's second band Stone Sour + their upcoming two new albums. Based on "Gone Sovereign" and "Absolute Zero", their new records will be heavier. And I'm afraid it may not be the best move because now a lot of people will link them with Slipknot. However, new tracks aren't bad.

Anyway, now we have here new music video for one of two already revealed tracks - "Gone Sovereign". It is pretty straight-forward video with nothing unusual in it. It is just band playing in front of some people. Well, maybe there is one unusual think about it and that is Corey's really weird eyeliner…

Anyway, here's the video (and don't forget, House of Gold and Bones Part 1 is out on October 22):

Watch new music video from Lana Del Rey

Singer Lana Del Rey will release new EP on November 13. The EP is called Paradise (or Born to Die - Paradise Edition) and it will feature 9 tracks.

Eight of them were actually written or co-written by Lana Del Rey herself. One song was written by Bernie Wayne and Lee Morris and it is called "Blue Velvet" (it was featured in her recent H&M ad).

However, first single of the EP is called "Ride" (it is actually featured as first track on the album, too). It will be Del Rey's sixth single and it will come out later this month, on September 25. The track itself is definitely one of her more dynamic and fast.

Couple of days ago, there was also released a music video for this track. It is 10-minute long music video, which is made not just to impress and please record company, but become cult. Yup, it is as good.

The video is about a girl (Lana Del Rey) who tries to become a singer. However, it is not as easy. She feels lonely and therefore she tries to find home in arms of several men. It is simple and complex at the same time. It has really deep idea. Its surrealistic vibe is just amazing. Check this awesome peace of art at the bottom of the post.

Tracklisting of Paradise:

"American"
"Cola"
"Body Electric"
