Lana Del Rey announced name of her debut LP

New YouTube star Lana Del Rey has named her debut LP. It is called Born To Die.

She has become popular after putting online her low-budget video of her song "Video Games". Del Rey named her album after her forthcoming single "Born To Die".

Her debut record will be released on January 23 according to Amazon.

She has also recently revealed that she hired a tiger for her video for "Born to Die".

She said:

"Tigers don't come cheap. It's a controversial video. You'll have to wait to see it but I got a generous budget. I wasn't allowed to be alone with the tiger at any time, for obvious reasons. It was a special experience."

Watch her video for song "Video Games" below.

Song of the day: White Lies - "Death"

"Death" is first song of their successful debut album To Lose My Life, which came out in 2009. They released their second record Ritual earlier this year. It is not as good as their first record, but still good. We'll see how they cope with their third album. Enjoy this great performance of "Death" at Reading Festival 2009.
