Watch new trailer for Metallica/Lou Reed`s Lulu

 Metallica and Lou Reed have posted trailer for their forthcoming album Lulu which is out on October 31. The trailer is 97-second long and promises "sex", "violence", "murder", "madness", "desire" and "greed" as well as a host of other things.

They will perform songs from Lulu on November 8 on Later...With Jools Holand.

MGMT to play two unique gigs in NYC

 MGMT has announced that they will play two unique shows at Guggenheim Museum in New York on November 10 and 11.
 
There will be exhibition on Maurizio Cattelan`s work as they play.
 
The band has said:
 
"We're creating a musical experience that works for the building, and for the construction and presentation of the Cattelan exhibition. The art exhibition is done in a completely original way, so it deserves music which is completely original. The Guggenheim performance won't be a traditional MGMT show, but it will be ____."

Death Cab for Cutie to release remix album

Alternative band Death Cab for Cutie will release remix album of their May`s Codes and Keys. It will be called simply Keys and Codes Remix EP. It will be out on November 22.

The album will contain remixed tracks from their newest album.

RATM`s Tom Morello will perform at Occupy Wall Street

Guitarist of Rage Against the Machine Tom Morello has decided to play at Occupy Wall Street. The artist will perform in NYC protest today at noon.

He has previously played at Occupy Los Angeles.

Morello said:

"The Nightwatchman will Occupy Wall Street tomorrow at noon, adding one more voice to the growing chorus of millions demanding economic justice at home and around the globe, and I'll be playing some songs. Likely in the rain."


He will be third major artist to perform on Occypu Wall Street after Neutral Milk Hotel's Jeff Mangum and Talib Kweli.
