Song of the day: Band Of Skulls - "Fires"

Watch new Foo Fighters music video

Foo Fighters released great record last year. Wasting Light even made it to my list of best albums of 2011. In fact, it may be the very best album of 2011. Anyways, these guys had a great year full of touring, but they don't seem to stop in 2012 either. They released new music video for their next single "These Days" couple of days ago.

The video contains footage of band during their tour in Australia and New Zealand. It is awesome video. It captures power of their live performances. These guys just rock. Check the video below.

Watch The Kills new documentary movie

The Kills have released great music video for their latest single "The Last Goodbye" from their newest record Blood Pressures. Well, now they made mini documentary video.

Documentary movie was created in honor of their 10th anniversary. It was directed by Giorgio Testi and it is called "Into The Unknown". Movie captures band before their headline show at London’s Brixton Academy from March 2011. Check it out below:

Jack White finally goes solo

Well, Jack White has finally decided to release solo album after his former band White Stripes broke-up last year. It took him actually quite a long time to decide to go solo. Jack White is known for his frequent collaborations with many different artist, but he had never decided to go solo. Until now.

His debut solo record entitled Blunderbuss will be, of course, released via White's independent record label Third Man Records. It will be out pretty soon - on April 23. The album was produced by Jack White himself and it was recorded in Third Man Records' studio in Nashville.

White said about the record:

“(Blunderbuss is) an album I couldn’t have released until now. I’ve put off making records under my own name for a long time but these songs feel like they could only be presented under my name. These songs were written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colors on my own canvas."

If you can't wait until the album's out, you can stream its first single "Love Interruption" here. It is surprisingly mellow, but not bad at all. In fact, I'm really excited about this record because I've been waiting for a long time for Jack White to finally go solo. I think I'm not the only one.
