Mastodon to appear on Jools Holland

The band has announced that they will perform live on UK TV show Later... With Jools Holland. They will be one of very few metal bands to appear on the show. Their appearance will be on BBC2 on October 18. I feel it will be pretty good performance.
Don`t forget - Mastodon`s new album The Hunter is out now.

The Decemberists announce new EP

The band has announced new EP entitled Long Live the King. EP will contain 6 tracks and it will be released on November 1. It will contain 5 acoustic tracks recorded during The King is Dead LP sessions and one cover of Grateful Dad`s "Row Jimmy".

Garbage set to release new LP in Spring of 2012

Garbage are finishing their fifth, yet untitled, LP which will be out in Spring of 2012. They haven`t release new album since Bleed Like Me which came out in 2005. You can watch teaser for the record on Garbage Facebook Page.
The new album was recorded in a basement in the Awater Village region of LA. The band also produced all their songs on their own. This fact is actually not surprising because drummer of Garbage is Butch Vig (producer of Nirvana`s Nevermind)...

 

Radiohead to premiere their remix album in London

The band has revealed that they will perform their brand new remix album in London. The album`s called TKOL RMX 1234567 and it is coming out next week. Jamie XX, Caribou, Lone and Illum Sphere will be DJing as well as Thom Yorke. The whole event will be available to stream on Boilerroom.tv.
