Beastie Boys got their own shoes

The band Beastie Boys created their own shoes. They are now selling this limited edition on eBay. These $200 sneakers use photos that have been never released before. They were taken during License to III tour in 1986.

Slash has started working on new album

Legendary guitarist and former Guns `n Roses member confirms that he has started working on his new solo album.

He tweeted:

"Listening to demos we recorded last week. Some tighter than others but sounding good. 14 songs together so far. Three more to go. Looking good to record three songs starting this weekend."
"I got blisters on my fingaas!!'-John Lennon. Tell me about it. At least I was told it was John. Regardless who said it, I've got them and I love them."

Gorillaz to release single collection

So, rumours about Gorillaz splitting up were probably untrue. Instead, the band will release collection of all singles released over the last 10 years. The collection will be released on November 28 and will include 15 tracks.

The Wombats to release new album much sooner than the second

Liverpool band The Wombats who are currently on tour throughout the Europe plan to release their third LP much sooner than the second album. They said that they do not want another four-year gap between This Modern Glitch and their third album.
Singer Matthew Murphy recently said:

"I don't want to leave it as long this time round. We'll be touring right up until the end of the festivals next summer, but after that we'll try and put something together. Saying that, though, I want to it to be good, so if it's 2045 or 2013, so be it."

Well, we will see if they fulfill what they promised.

Doherty too drunk to go to prison

Pete Doherty will not face any accusations for alleged robbery that happened earlier this year in Germany. Police has said that former Libertines member was too drunk to steal records and a guitar.
Doherty admitted that he broke the window of a shop, but denied robbery. He was already released from prison this summer and there was possibility that he will come back. However, all charges against him were dropped...


End of Gorillaz ?

Gorillaz animated character Murdoc tweeted on his Twitter page that Gorillaz may be getting to an end.
The message said:
"Gorillaz are TEN. Ten years old, eh? T.E.N. What’s that stand for? The End is Nigh…!"
We will see if it is real end of Gorillaz or not...
