Animal Collective have started working on new LP

The band have revealed in an interview with Madison.com that they are currently working on their new album. It will be follow-up of their 2009's LP Merriweather Post Pavilion.

According to Avey Tare, the band have just finished two-week long writing session in Baltimore during which they put together 5 tracks. The actual recording process is supposed to begin in January.

Animal Collective are known for the fact that none of their records sounds like the other. They always come up with something new, something more crazy. Well, we will soon see which crazy things they'll bring next.

Madonna to perform at Super Bowl

Madonna is set to perform during Super Bowl's halftime show. This year's game will take place in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on February 5. Like every year, it will be one of the most shows of the year.

Black Eyed Peas and Usher performed last year.

Watch The Black Keys rock Saturday Night Live

The Black Keys will release their anticipated album El Camino tomorrow. Before its release, last saturday (November 3), they performed at Saturday Night Live. They played two tracks from their newest record - "Lonely Boy" and "Gold On The Ceiling". They were awesome. Check both performances below.

Listen to new Mark Lanegan Band song

Mark Lanegan Band will release new album entitled Blues Funeral on February 7. The record will contain 12 tracks. Opening track and first single from the album is "The Gravedigger's Song".

Name of the album suggests that Lanegan's bluesy style from 90's is gone. However, it is still him and the new song is quite good. You can listen to "The Gravedigger's Song" at the bottom of the page.

Tracklisting of Blues Funeral:

1. "The Gravedigger’s Song"
2. "Bleeding Muddy Water"
3. "Gray Goes Black"
4. "St Louis Elegy"
5. "Riot In My House"
6. "Ode To Sad Disco"
7. "Phantasmagoria Blues"
8. "Quiver Syndrome"
9. "Harborview Hospital"
10. "Leviathan"
11. "Deep Black Vanishing Train"
12. "Tiny Grain Of Truth"

Franz Ferdinand are back

Franz Ferdinand seem to be back. The band haven't played big gig for over two years now. However, they are now confirmed for first show in 2012. They are set to headline Primavera Sound festival, which takes place in Barcelona, Spain on May 30-June 3.

It is very likely that they will add more shows for 2012.

Bjork, Death Cam For Cutie, The Drums, The xx are also confirmed for Primavera Sound festival for this year. To see all confirmed bands so far, head here.

Watch Kasabian making of "Re-Wired" video

Below you can watch Kasabian's making of "Re-Wired" video. "Re-Wired" is their second single from their latest record Velociraptor!, which came out in September this year. The music video for this song was released in October. However, "making of" video was put online only two weeks ago.

Check both videos below.

Song of the day: The Black Keys - "Run Right Back"

I've been listening to their new album El Camino just for one day, but I felt in love with it. Especially song "Run Right Back" is awesome. Check it out below.
