Picture of the day: September 19, 2012

Today's picture was posted by NOFX singer and bassist Fat Mike via his Twitter. The photo was taken in downtown of Indianapolis. He also posted funny note:

"But downtown Indianapolis is pretty fucking cool. Took a photo of me and a local Mexican worker"

I hope you all know that "local Mexican worker" is El Hefe - guitarist of NOFX...

Song of the day: Animal Collective - "Today's Supernatural"

Psychedelic band from Baltimore, Maryland - Animal Collective recently released their ninth studio album entitled Centipede Hz. The record got mixed reviews, but I think it is good. I haven't listened to the album a lot though, but based on those couple times I gave it a try, I liked it.

This experimental formation, which consists of David Portner aka Avey Tare, Noah Lennox aka Panda Bear, Josh Dibb aka Deakin and Brian Weitz aka Geologist is currently on tour in support of their latest effort throughout Canada and US. In November, they will head to Europe. To see all their tour dates, visit their website.

YouTube channel of their label, Domino Records, recently posted two videos of their live performances at Prospect Park Brooklyn in 2011. You can now check live performances of "Today's Supernatural" and "Father Time" below. They are awesome. Especially, those effects are sick.
