Check out Soundgarden's performance on Letterman

Grunge veterans, Seattle's Soundgarden, are back with new album entitled King Animal (you can still stream it in its entirety along with new Deftones and How to Destroy Angels records here). It's interesting that even though it is their first new full-length studio album in long 15 years (last one was 1996's Down on the Upside), it is really good.

To promote their latest effort, they recently stopped by at New York’s Ed Sullivan Theatre to appear in the latest installment of the Live on Letterman online concert series.

Their ten-song setlist, which lasted almost one hour, included 7 tracks from King Animal, two from 1988's Ultramega OK and one tune from 1994's Superunknown.

Band also performed current single "Been Away For Too Long" for Late Show With David Letterman TV series. Check both performances below.

"Worse Dreams" (from King Animal)
"By Crooked Steps" (from King Animal)
