The Rolling Stones finally confirmed 50th anniversary concerts

You all probably know that legendary band The Rolling Stones is celebrating their 50th anniversary as a band this year. For this occasion, they released book, documentary, changed their logo and will also release two new songs (one of them called "Doom and Gloom" is already out), which will be featured on new compilation entitled Grrr! (it is out on November 12).

However, many people were waiting for some live shows. They have been previously rumoured, but no official announcements were made. Until yesterday.

They have finally confirmed four 50th anniversary celebration shows. The band will perform on November 25 and 29 at London's O2 Arena and on December 13 and 15 at Newark's Prudential Center.

Mick Jagger said about the chosen places of shows:

"Everybody loves a celebration, and London and New York are two good places to do it in!"

Guitarist Keith Richards added:

"Sorry to keep you all hanging around but the waiting is over. I’ve always said the best place for rock and roll is on the stage and the same is true for the Stones. I’m here with Mick, Charlie and Ronnie and everything is rocking. See you very soon!"
