System of a Down will make a new album
John Dolmayan, the drummer of System of a Down, has confirmed that the band will record a new album, but not yet. He said that it will take at least another year. The band reunited for world tour this year. However, they did not play any new songs.
The drummer has spoken that he knows that many people wait for new album to come out. He also said that the new album needs to be as good as older albums they previously recorded.
He said:
"We don’t generally work during Christmas so we’ll be home for the next three or four months. And then Serj takes off and goes to New Zealand for a couple of months — he lives part time in New Zealand. And then I think he’s got another solo album coming out next summer. So you might see System touring next summer, you might not."

The Wombats to release new album much sooner than the second
Liverpool band The Wombats who are currently on tour throughout the Europe plan to release their third LP much sooner than the second album. They said that they do not want another four-year gap between This Modern Glitch and their third album.
Singer Matthew Murphy recently said:
"I don't want to leave it as long this time round. We'll be touring right up until the end of the festivals next summer, but after that we'll try and put something together. Saying that, though, I want to it to be good, so if it's 2045 or 2013, so be it."
Well, we will see if they fulfill what they promised.
