Watch Marilyn Manson and Johnny Depp perform together
Couple of days ago, 2012 Revolver Golden Gods awards in Los Angeles took place. Marilyn Manson headlined the ceremony. He made almost 19-minute long performance during which he played four tracks. However, it wasn't an ordinary performance.
He played two tracks with popular actor and Manson's good friend Johnny Depp. He played with him cover song "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)" and his best tune "The Beautiful People". Watch the whole performance here (via YouTube). It was a good performance except Manson's voice. It was kinda bad that night.
Johnny Depp will also appear on Marilyn Manson's forthcoming album entitled Born Villain, which is out on May 1. They will perform together cover version of Carly Simon’s "You’re So Vain" on the album.

Green Day will release three new albums
Yes, I know that it's crazy, but Green Day are set to released album trilogy. So we won't get only one new album from these guys, but three new records.
Each record will be released one at a time. First one called ¡UNO! will be out in September, second one called ¡DOS! will be out in November and the last one entitled ¡TRE! will be out in January 2013.
Frontman Billy Joe Armstrong tweeted via his official Twitter account:
"Ok. Here's the deal. We're making a 3 album trilogy. Not 1. Not 2. But 3 albums. Called ¡UNO! ¡DOS! ¡TRE! Coming September November January."
We've known about the fact that the band is busy working on new album because of their frequent studio updates they post on their YouTube channel, however, nobody probably expected anything like this. It is great that they are still able to write so much new music after all these years, but I am kind of worried that not all the tracks will be as good as the others.

Lollapalooza 2012 line-up revealed
Legendary summer music festival Lollapalooza, which is organized annually by leader of Jane's Addiction Perry Farrell, has revealed line-up for 2012. It is one of the biggest US festivals, therefore, I feel I should write about it.
As reported by Chicago Sun Times, headliners of this year's Lollapalooza will be Black Sabbath, Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Black Keys. Black Sabbath's appearance at this festival will be their first stop in the US of this year.
Other artists are quite awesome, too. Jack White, Justice, Avicii, At the Drive-In, Sigur Rós, Florence and the Machine, The Shins, M83, Passion Pit, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, The Gaslight Anthem, Alabama Shakes, Metric, Delta Spirit, tUnE-yArDs, The Tallest Man on Earth, Dr. Dog, Dawes, The Walkmen, Neon Indian, Gary Clark Jr., Sharon Van Etten, The War on Drugs, White Rabbits, Washed Out, The Black Angels, Bear In Heaven, Chairlift, JEFF the Brotherhood and many more will also perform on August 3-5 at Grant Park, Chicago, IL.

End of Blur and Gorillaz?
In a recent interview with The Guardian magazine, frontman of Blur and Gorillaz, Damon Albarn, said that both band will most likely end. Even though Blur are set to perform at this year's summer Olympics, there will be no more gigs or new music probably.
He said that the main reason for Blur not putting out anything new is relationship between bassist Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree. He said:
"It’s harder for them to reconnect. You know what I mean? It’s fine when we play live – it’s really magical still – but actually recording new stuff, and swapping musical influences… it’s quite difficult."
He also mentioned that we should not expect any more new music from Gorillaz either. He mentioned that he and his co-creator, animator Jamie Hewlett, "were at cross purposes somewhat on [Plastic Beach], which is a shame. So until a time comes when that knot has been untied…."
Frontman of both bands pointed out that "the music and the videos weren’t working as well together, but I felt we’d made a really good record, and I was into it. So we went and played it."
However, this does not mean that Damon Albarn is not doing anything. He's currently preparing record with his side project Rocket Juice And The Moon (with Flea and Tony Allen) and the soundtrack to his musical, Dr. Dee.
